After graduating high school, Marti enlisted in the United States Navy, seeking to serve the country while acquiring discipline and life skills that would shape a career. Marti's active-duty service during Operation Desert Storm inspired a lasting commitment to professionalism and teamwork. This military discipline would prove instrumental in her future career endeavors.

Upon completing military service, Marti pursued higher education, earning an MBA in Accounting & Finance from Regis University Denver, CO. This rigorous academic journey endowed Marti with comprehensive knowledge and expertise that has been invaluable in diverse business contexts.

Now with over 30 years of progressive experience Marti has had the opportunity to work with various businesses across different sectors, developing a reputation for furnishing accurate and timely comprehensive financial reports that facilitate informed executive decision-making.

In 2017, Marti took a bold step into entrepreneurship and founded Affordable Bookkeeping Plus LLC, dedicating efforts to provide tailored services in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll for both small and medium-sized enterprises.
